The Physical Developement of the Young Child
Introduction
First we will focus on the factors that will influence each phase before we study each of these phases in more depth.
- Genetic factors
- Nutrition factors
- Health
- Affection and stimulation
- Culture
- Socio-economic environment
When we look at the origin or the causes of ADHD each one of these factors bar one will play a role. However, not always in the same measure as each of these factors will affect each child differently.
However, when it comes to culture, ADHD spares no one. Regardless where you are within the context of the world, we will find individuals with ADHD and those without. The percentage of individuals with ADHD may differ marginally but not so much that Culture could be attributed to have a significance on the prevalence of the disorder.
