Religious Instruction

The following policy is based on the current situation of how freedom of religion could be express within the the School Environment.

A public school as an organ of the state and subsidise by the state are also a private entity with its own identity as set out by the SASA and for this reason conflict in the interpretation of how religiuos instruction should be handle in a school can become a contentious issue.

The wording of this policy can be ammended and is not prescribed and is only a guideline to ensure that Religious Freedom as enshrined in the constituation is adhere to as best as possible due to the sensitivity of its application within the Educational Landscape.
